Hi! My name is Anna. People actually started reading this so I had to put something here! I love climbing. In the winter I climb ice. In the summer I climb rocks. In between I sometimes drytool but it is scary so I have to be really desperate! I am totally crack obsessed. As a result, I have the hands of an 80 year old woman (But its worth it). I dont really own anything of value, except $$$$ in gear and a 2005 Honda Civic Sedan named Larry. At bars, I am THAT girl on the dance floor. I love everything to do with breakfast. I think I am the only person in the entire world that doesn’t like Rice Krispie Squares. I love shoes. And flannel pyjamas. And fancy salsa. I regularly sleep in Walmart parking lots. I hoard ketchup packets. And jam. I have a blog! I am not a blogger lol.
(For those who have been following the blog for awhile Beauty, my 2000 Chevy Cavalier, unfortunately died and had to be coasted in neutral to the scrapyard. The trunk I took road tripping–the one with the with the kinda-broken-but-still-functional flip pac from the 70s– also died after 350,000)
Thank you to Walmart for free camping around the US and CAN!
I love your blog already! LOL. So true about first world problems for female rock climbers. I’ve encountered the same or similar problems myself being a rock and ice climber from NorCal! Rad on! Love your van-bumming btw. Cheers to more climbs to you! Where do you like to climb in US and CAN?
I live in Ontario, which has some okay crags but most are 4+ hours drive. My friends and I roadtrip to the states whenever we can, usually to West Virginia or Kentucky. We leave on a Thursday after work, drive through the night, sleep a couple hours when we arrive, climb Friday/Sat then head home on Sunday. I am hopelessly addicted to crack so am always scheming ways to take off from work and head to UT. I love JTree and try to make it out there at least once a year 🙂
Like the free camping idea,
Jim
I recommend parking in the back corner because its really awkward climbing out of your truck on a Saturday morning in your pjs surrounded by people with shopping carts loading stuff into their cars
🙂
With toothbrush and towel heading for the loo,
Just act natural
PJs…… what I need to buy PJs 🙂
Loved all your blogs and as a dude I had to shared them with my lady friends. Climb on garth
What’s with all the choss on your photo. Next time chose a nice granite cliff we can all. salivate over.

Hi Anna I just landed on your website. I read it all, it’s great! I sometimes sleep in my car at crag parking lots or nearby… it’s usually nice and quiet here in France! And yes, baby wipes rule!
Cheers,
Camille
